WHAT WE DO

INTRODUCTION

Ambition Racing provides comprehensive academy programmes for athletes aged  U10 through to U25 . We guide our skiers through their careers from grass roots to  Youth Olympic & World Junior Championship  level. The majority of our athletes compete internationally, representing the GBR Ski Team & Team GB at various events during their time with Ambition.

Ambition Racing is formed of 3 key aspects or programs;

The Academic Program

We provide a full academic program at Ambition Racing from  November to April  each year. Led by a team of passionate, efficient and enthusiastic teachers and tutors, the Ambition Racing structure enables student-athletes to progress and excel in their academics alongside ski racing. At Ambition Racing we place  equal importance  on our academic & sporting structures.

Ambition student athletes are guided through a minimum of 14 hours of classroom time each week, with extra support sessions provided as & when required, to fit around both training & competition periods.

The Alpine Program

The Alpine program at Ambition is second to none. Through a variety of commitment programs, tailored to suit the needs and development of each age group, Ambition Racing provides  flexible core  and  full-time  program options. Details of which can be found through the Ambition Proposal upon request.

The Alpine Program is delivered from a number of locations both domestically and overseas and includes the use of indoor snow halls, dry ski slopes, glaciers & southern hemisphere locations. The Ambition Racing academy base   is located in  Leogang, Austria  where the student-athletes live from October to April each year at  Haus Tirol .

As the backbone of the academy, our Alpine program is delivered by some of the best minds within the sport, drawing on years of personal experience alongside coach & instructor education.

The Pastoral / Base Program

Athlete care is at the forefront of everything we do at Ambition Racing. We want our student-athletes to be winners, we want them to succeed, we want them to strive for greatness but most of all we want them to be safe, secure and happy as a foundation to all of the above. At Ambition Racing, our  full-time houseparent & CWO  is responsible for the welfare and wellbeing of our team with duties ranging from ensuring house rules & bedtime monitoring, to illness & injury management, to just being a sympathetic ear / shoulder to cry on through difficult days.

Our aim is that each and every athlete looks back on their years at Ambition Racing with fond & happy memories.
