Well we woke up this morning to more new snow and after the wind of the last few days we definitely needed it!!!! There must have been about 20cms of new snow by the time we left the hill after training this morning. None the less we managed to get 6 good runs in, the course needed lots of slipping but we got down to some hard snow after a couple of runs. There was some varied performances but certainly overall the guys are looking pretty consistent in GS at the moment. Bit of core to follow and the guys are now getting their skis ready for the South American Cup GS tomorrow, most of the team will be starting just outside of the top 30 and conditions being as they are, it could well work in our favour come 2nd run tomorrow.

We have not had time to fit everything in and with only 2 afternoons of slalom brushes we decided to miss the slalom races, with the exception of Ellie Pocock who looked pretty strong in both of those sessions. The results are not up yet but Justin was happy with Ellie's skiing and we are pretty sure she will have a personal best points result from today.
After tomorrow we will head to Santiago for our mid-camp break, everyone is doing well but a re-charge at lower altitude will definitely be appreciated to get us ready for a big push for last 10 days.
Also, Imogen Taylor's birthday today and i didnt mention but it was Emily Evans' on Thursday too. Will celebrate when we head to Santiago.
That's all for now, keep everything crossed for us for tomorrow's GS!!
